AD Systems doors are available in customized sizes, with smooth gliding wood or aluminum stile and rail panel designs and multiple hardware options to me the functional and aesthetic needs of your project. You may specify door clear opening widths from the minimum ADA-approved 32 inches up 48’ or even 60” depending on the specifics of the door and additional transoms and sidelites can be incorporated to build a larger storefront style opening. With either our wood or aluminum door options you have the option of including of clear, frosted or other decorative glass, integral blinds units, leaded glass or even marker boards for increased functionality. Our sliding doors feature a top-hung design that is supported by our signature heavy-duty roller system. This assembly is engineered to provide a smooth, gliding operation every time with little maintenance over the life of the door. Because they rely on a hidden floor guide, there is never an exposed track or threshold, which could become a tripping hazard or a receptacle for dirt. Our door jambs wrap seamlessly and smoothly around the wall opening to give a professional and finished look while remaining keeping the openings easily cleanable able to withstand the wear and tear of high levels of activity.
AD Systems offers the option of engineering your selection with our patent-pending acoustic seal system, which effectively seals all four sides of our sliding door against noise pollution. We offer levels of sound mitigation from minimal levels of conversation muffling to maximum levels of NIC (Noise Isolation Class) ratings as high as 39.
Our sliding doors meet or exceed applicable ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) requirements. They will be within the mandated limit of five pounds of force required for operation and include soft-closing technology that prevents slams and pinched fingers. AD Systems also offers an automatic self-closing option for hands-free closing in areas where limited mobility or perhaps airflow isolation is a concern. We also offer a range of l ADA-compliant locking and latching options to accommodate a range of hardware needs.
