In 2009, AD Systems began designing sliding barn door systems for interior commercial projects where acoustical mitigation, overall performance and space savings were a concern. The initial product solutions were “office fronts” tailored to the needs of higher end corporate clientele who desired customized design features, such as roller blinds and synchronized double doors. These systems provided superior privacy for meetings as well as overall ease of use. Since then, AD Systems has expanded its sliding and swing door offerings to provide flexible openings and other customized options. These specialized door systems meet the particular needs of healthcare projects and have been widely adopted for a range of outpatient and inpatient applications based on product performance.
